Tokkuri-Saké Bottle. Local native clay from The Dingle Peninsula Ireland.

€70.00

Tokkuri-Saké Bottle is made from 100% native clay.

This is a local clay from the Dingle Peninsula that I dug and process myself.

Some ingredients in this clay include a coarse sand of red sandstone and quartz.

Nothing is added to this clay only a few stones are removed.

The glaze surface has a stone like finish. I make this stoneware glaze myself in my studio.

Wheel thrown electric kiln fired to 1280° Celsius.

Suitable for sake, whisky or as a small vase.
