This small Plate was made on a kick wheel out for native clay from The Dingle Peninsula.

This is a fine local clay that I dug and process myself.

Very small amounts of small stones are removed from this clay and 5% local quartz sand is added to this clay.

Fired to 1280° Celsius in an electric kiln.

This plate is not glazed, the clay is watertight and fully vitrified stoneware.

Suitable for food dishes.

Food safe microwave and dishwasher safe.
