This stoneware cup is made from a local clay that I dug and process myself.

This clay was deposited in Feothanach during the last ice age.

I add 5% quartz sand from Kilmurry Sandstone to this clay.

Glazed with wood ash and local clay glaze.

All the materials used to make this cup are from The Dingle Peninsula Co Kerry Ireland.

Electric kiln fired to 1280° Celsius.

Food safe microwave and dishwasher safe.
