This stoneware cup is made from a local clay that I dug and process myself.

This clay is from one single source, and it was deposited in Feothanach during the last ice age.

I add 5% quartz sand from Kilmurry Sandstone to this clay.

The clay and sand are from The Dingle Peninsula Co Kerry Ireland.

Glazed with a Dolomite glaze that has a smooth stone like finish.

Wheel thrown and electric kiln fired to 1280° Celsius.

Food safe microwave and dishwasher safe.
